The all new TP5/TP5x is built better from cover to cover, featuring TaylorMade’s microcoating technology and an updated five-layer construction with a a new speed wrapped core. Experience tighter dispersion, more ball speed, added distance and the ultimate greenside control.

A more precise and controlled application of paint creates TaylorMade’s most consistent outer layer in a ball yet. Microcoating limits paint pooling to maximize the aerodynamics of the dimple pattern. The new TP5x will have a more repeatable ball flight with a tighter dispersion.

A new core formulation increases core COR for more ball speed on high-speed shots. An increased speed gradient, using new, firmer material composition, is designed to add ball speed while fine tuning spin throughout flight.

TP5x is TaylorMade’s lowest spinning, fastest five-layer Tour ball. That speed is largely attributed to new mantle layers, which include new materials for unparalleled ball speeds at the top of the bag. The core also provides the foundation for firmer material composition in the three mantle layers that comprise the speed gradient, further contributing to ball speed. The mantle construction also fine-tunes spin throughout the flight.

Around the green, the ultrathin cast urethane cover provides ample wedge spin for precise distance control and soft feel.
