The Sony BRAVIA Theatre Quad uses four, wireless speakers and a compact control hub for effortless surround sound. Simply connect your TV, and one other AV source, to the control hub, place the wireless speakers around you and, within minutes of unboxing, you’ll be enjoying powerful surround sound.

Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and IMAX Enhanced compatible
Featuring up-firing drivers, each of the four surround speakers are compatible with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and IMAX Enhanced formats. Up-firing speakers help create a more voluminous sound, with overhead effects – such as a helicopter – sounding more realistic than ever. Combined with an Atmos or DTS:X soundtrack, the 3D sound will have you ducking for cover.

Unique 360 Spatial Sound Mapping Technology, with ‘phantom’ speakers
Making the most of the Atmos/DTS:X compatibility, each speaker uses a built-in dual microphone to measure their position within the room. 360 Sound Mapping then creates up to 12 ‘phantom’ speakers, giving you an even more enveloping sound – without increasing the actual speaker count.

For the best experience, pair with a compatible Sony BRAVIA TV and enjoy Acoustic Centre Sync. This uses the TV’s built-in speakers as the dialogue, or centre speaker, helping to firmly locate the sound to the picture.

Optional subwoofers for even greater bass power
Take the sound to a deeper dimension by adding an optional subwoofer. The optional SA-SW3 and SA-SW5 models connect seamlessly and, like the surround speakers, use a wireless connection. With power outputs of 200 watts and 300 watts, respectively, expect edge-of-seat cinema style thrills.
